Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 lb. cream cheese
  • 2 1/2 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Mix together sugar, walnuts and cinnamon and set aside. In another bowl, cream butter and cream cheese together. Gradually add flour. If dough is too soft add a little more flour. Roll out dough to 1/2 thick and brush with beaten egg. Cover with cinnamon mixture. Cut dough into 1 widths and 2 lengths and twist. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 400* for 8-10 minutes.
