Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup boiling water

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix together flour, 1/4 cup sugar, the 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk, oil, and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Pour batter into an ungreased 1 1/2 quart baking casserole dish.
  4. Mix together the 1/2 cup sugar and the 2 tablespoons cocoa powder in a small mixing bowl. Gradually stir in the boiling water. Pour evenly over batter in the casserole.
  5. Bake 30 minutes.
  6. Cool 20-30 minutes.
