Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 bag hershey's kisses - flavor of your choice

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In medium sized bowl, ream butter and sugars until well combined and light in color.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla until well incorporated. Be sure to scrape the sides and bottom of bowl.
  4. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cocoa powder. Add to butter mixture slowly, on medium speed. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Form dough into 1 balls.
  6. Bake for about 10-12 minutes.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before transfering to a wire rack.
  8. Once cookies are cooled but still slightly warm to the touch, lightly press an unwrapped kiss into the center. makes about 31/2 dozen cookies.
