Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 10 tbsp oil
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 6 tsp butter

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cake:.
  3. Mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
  4. Make 3 hole.
  5. Add the vanilla to one well, vinegar to another, and oil to the last.
  6. Pour the 2 cups of water over it and mix well.
  7. Pour into a well oiled pan and bake 35-40 minutes.
  8. Topping:.
  9. Mix together sugar, corn starch and shaved chocolate in a sauce pan.
  10. Add the 3 cups of boiling water.
  11. Cook till smooth and thick.
  12. Add in the vanilla and butter, mix well.
  13. Pour over cake while the pudding is still warm. The cake doesn't have to cool before you do this either.
