Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup. of shortening
  • 1/2 cup. of butter
  • 3/4 cup. of white sugar
  • 3/4 cup. of packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. of almond extract
  • 1 tsp. of baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp.of salt
  • 2 cup. of chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. First you want to cream shortening, butter, sugars, then eggs and vanilla and almond extracts.
  2. Then you can blend dry ingredients and add to mixture.
  3. Next you will stir in Chocolate chips.
  4. Now you want to drop by large tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet, leaving 2-inches room in between to allow cookies to spread.
  5. Then bake at 375° for 10 minutes until lightly brown.
  6. This will make 2-3 dozen cookies depending on size
