Katie's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions:

  1. Mix shortening, butter, sugars, egg and vanilla.
  2. Sift dry ingredients together and stir in.
  3. Mix in chocolate chips.
  4. Drop rounded teaspoons 2 apart.
  5. Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees.
