Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Cream together shortening and peanut butter. Add sugars and beat until fluffy. Blend in eggs, vanilla and almond extract.
  2. Whisk together dry ingredients and add to peanut butter mixture just until blended.
  3. Bake in a well-greased 9x13 pan for 15-18 minutes at 350°F.
