Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a 9x5x3” loaf pan.
  3. Combine all dry ingredients (except sugar) and set aside.
  4. Stir togethe the egg, butter, milk, sugar, and vanilla.
  5. Add dry ingredients and stir until evenly moistened.
  6. Fold in pecans (I like to toast the pecans on a cookie sheet in the oven before I start).
  7. Pour batter into the greased loaf pan.
  8. Smooth out the top.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
  10. Let bread sit in pan on a cooling rack for 10 minutes.
  11. Remove from pan and let cool completely.
