Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
  • 1 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 stick butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 1/2 cup oats
  • 2 cup semi-sweet chcolate morsels
  • 1 cup nuts coursely chopped

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Beat brown sugar, butter and granulated sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy.
  3. Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats, morsels and nuts; mix well.
  5. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 9 - 10 minutes for chewy cookes, or 12 - 13 minutes for crispy cookies.
  7. Cool on baking sheets for 1 minute; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
