Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • pinch salt
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup dates
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 F. Sift dry ingredients together. Add chopped fruit, nuts and eggs, butter and vanilla. Mix and spread in 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 325 F until it pulls away from the side of the pan approximately 35 minutes. While warm, cut and roll in icing sugar.
