Directions:

  1. After rinsing, dry chick peas in a kitchen towel.
  2. In a dry nonstick skillet over medium heat add the chick peas. Season with black pepper, to taste, and cook, shaking pan often until chick peas are toasted and light golden brown, about 7 minutes. Stir in the cheese and toss to coat chick peas. Serve as a snack or starter.
