Directions:

  1. In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in water.
  2. Stir in pie filling; mix well.
  3. Slowly stir in soda (mixture will foam).
  4. Pour into an 8-inch square dish.
  5. Cover and refrigerate until firm.
  6. Cut into squares.
  7. Garnish with whipped topping if desired.
