Ingredients:

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1-1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (about 13+ oz can)
  • mix together to make a thin glaze use small amts of warm water and stir until thin not watery.. icing ..drizzle over tops of bars

Directions:

  1. Cream together all ingredients and put only 1/2 of mixture into the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 pan.
  2. Spread 1 can cherry pie filling on top .spread the other 1/2 of mixture on top of cherries.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 35 minutes.
  4. Drizzle icing glaze on top when removed from oven.
  5. Cut into bars when cooled
