Ingredients:

  • 8 meduim baking potatoes,peeled n sliced
  • 1/2 a onion diced ,optional
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • salt n pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups milk or as needed
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Place 1/2 the potatoes in meduim baking dish,layer with 1/2 the onion,1/2 the cheese n 1/2 the butter.Sprinkle 1/2 the cornstarch over top.Season with salt n pepper.
  3. Repeat layers, reserving some cheese slices.
  4. Pour in enough milk to cover potatoes.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes,stirring twice.Top with remaining cheese slices and continue baking 30 more minutes,or until potatoes are tender.
