Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 sticks butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups plus 2 tbsp flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa podwer
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Cream together butter and sugar.
  3. Mix in 2 eggs and 2 tsp vanilla
  4. Reserve 1/2 cup dough and place covered in refrigerator.
  5. Use remaining dough and press into base of 9X13 pan.
  6. Refrigerate for 30 minutes
  7. Bake for 22 minutes.
  8. Meanwhile, mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, 1 egg and 1/2 tsp vanilla.
  9. Pour this mixture on top of brownie base
  10. Crumble remaining brownie mixture from fridge on top of cream cheese layer.
  11. Bake for 25 minutes
