Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and flour together; mix well.
  2. Reserve 1/2 cup crumb mixture; press remaining mixture into an 8 inch square baking pan.
  3. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes; cool.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and lemon juice until fluffy (1-2 minutes).
  5. Stir in cherries.
  6. Spread filling over cooled crust.
  7. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture over top.
  8. Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes or until the filling is set and top is lightly browned.
  9. Cool and store in the refrigerator.
