  1. In a medium skillet over low heat, heat oil. Add onions and garlic, stirring until soft and translucent, 5-6 minutes.
  2. Add walnuts and pine nuts and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add vinegar, capers, salt and pepper and cook for 1 minute to blend flavors.
