Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets.
  3. Rinse flowers and pull off petals, set aside.
  4. In a bowl, cream butter, sugar and orange rind till fluffy.
  5. Add orange juice concentrate and vanilla.
  6. Mix in eggs, stirring till blended.
  7. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
  8. Blend calendula petals and dry ingredients into creamed mixture.
  9. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
  10. Press an almond half on top of each.
  11. Bake 12-15 minutes.
