  1. BROWN SAUAGE AND HAMBURGER IN A SKILLET AND DRAIN WELL. PLACE IN SOUP POT.
  2. THEN ADD GARLIC, CABBAGE THAT HAS BEEN SLICED, NOT TO THIN . I GUESS YOU COULD CHOP IT IN TO MED. SIZE PIECES TO., THEN ADD THE CHOPPED ONION, CHOPPED POTATOES TO THE POT WITH THE HAMBURGER AND SAUAGE. POUR ABOUT 6CUPS OF WATER OVER INGREDIENTS IN THE POT JUST ENOUGHT WATER TO COVER THE VEGETABLES.. BRING TO A BOIL AND COOK ABOUT 20 MINS TILL THE CABBAGE AND POTATOES ARE DONE.THEN ADD THE PT. OF HALF AND HALF AND BRING TO A BOIL AND TURN DOWN LOW THE BURNER AND LET THE HALF AND HALF TAKE ON THE TASTE OF THE VEGTABLES. (YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE THE HALF AND HALF.) SERVE WITH YOUR MEAL AND ENJOY. OH YES YOU CAN USE CHICKEN BROTH INSTEAD OF WATER FOR COOKING THIS SOUP.
  3. YOU CAN ADD MUSHROOMS AND CHOPPED UP CARROTTS TO THIS SOUP TO IF YOU LIKE FOR A CHANGE.
  4. I SOME TIMES SPRINKLE PARMESAN CHEESE ON THE TOP WHEN I DISH IT UP INTO BOWLS.
