Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In medium saucepan mix the brown sugar, flour and salt.
  3. Over medium heat, gradually add the milk and mix well.
  4. Beat egg yolks and add to the mixture.
  5. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick.
  6. Add butter and mix until melted.
  7. Remove mixture from heat.
  8. Whip egg whites and sugar until medium peaks form.
  9. Pour mixture into baked pie shell.
  10. Swirl meringue onto top of pie.
  11. Bake approximately 10 minutes until tips of meringue are light brown.
  12. Cool completely on pie rack.
  13. Wrap loosely with plastic wrap, and store in refridgerator over night.
