Ingredients:

  • 6 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tsp whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Beat the butter, sugars, salt, and vanilla until combined. Beat in egg.
  3. Whisk together the flours and baking soda. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  4. Add in butterfingers and stir.
  5. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls and drop them about 3 inchs apart on ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake 9 to 12 minutes.
