Butter Rum Acorn Squash

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
  2. Butter 13x9x2 glass baking dish.
  3. Cut tops and bottoms off squash.
  4. Scoop out and discard seeds.
  5. Cut squash crosswise into 1/2 thick rings.
  6. Arrange in prepared dish, overlapping slightly if neccessary.
  7. Mix sugar and spices in small bowl.
  8. Sprinkle over squash.
  9. Drizzle with butter and rum.
  10. Cover dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  11. Turn squash over, cover and bake an addtional 15 minutes, or until squash is very tender.
