Burnt Butter Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 dash salt

Directions:

  1. Brown butter in saucepan until it is a golden brown - do not burn.let cool.
  2. In seperate bowl, add ingredients in order listed - stir.
  3. Blend in browned butter well.
  4. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 425* for 10 minutes.then lower heat to 325* for 40 minutes.
