Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Prepare a medium-hot charcoal fire or preheat the broiler.
  2. Place on grill or under the broiler the slices of bread.
  3. Grill or broil, turning once, until golden brown, about 3 minutes each side.
  4. Remove from the heat and rub the surface with 2 large cloves of garlic.
  5. Brush with 3-4 T of the olive oil.
  6. Combine the tomatoes, basil leaves, salt and pepper in bowl.
  7. Divide the tomato among the brushetta and serve immediately.
