Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Put stock, meat, and tomatoes in large stock pot and simmer gently.
  2. Add potatoes.
  3. Sauté onions in butter and add to pot.
  4. Simmer this for 3 to 5 hours.
  5. Add limas, corn, sugar, and pepper last 30 minutes of cooking.
  6. Stir frequently to keep from scorching bottom of pan, or put on reducer .
  7. Correct seasoning and serve.
