Broiled Tomatoes With Feta

Ingredients:

  • 3 (14 1/2 oz) cans whole tomatoes, drained
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 tbsp garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 cups feta cheese
  • salt and pepper , to taste

Directions:

  1. Heat broiler.
  2. Place drained tomatoes in a cassarole dish.
  3. Put a pat of butter on each tomato.
  4. Mash garlic and feta cheese.
  5. Top each tomato with this paste.
  6. Salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Broil 10-15 minutes until lightly browned and cheese is melted.
  8. If you like hot, add grated jalapeno to feta and garlic paste.
