Broiled Bananas With Lemon And Sugar

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Peel bananas and arrange them in one layer in a gratin dish.
  3. Pour lemon juice over bananas and roll them in juice to prevent discoloring.
  4. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over them.
  5. Broil bananas 4 from heat until they are brown on top about 4 minutes.
  6. Turn bananas and broil them again for 4 minutes until they are brown on top.
  7. Scatter the raisins over them.
  8. Cool bananas until they are lukewarm.
  9. Sprinkle with rum and shake dish to mix in rum then serve immediately.
