Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat 1/4 c butter in a skillet.
  2. Add shallots, cook 5 minutes to soften.
  3. Add apples, bourbon and maple syrup, cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Add cider and boil for 5 minutes until most of the liquid evaporates.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in remaining butter 1 tbsp at a time.
  6. Add nutmeg, cloves and sage, stirring.
  7. Serve warm.
