Blueberry Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 pint blueberries
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. In a small pan over medium high heat, combine blueberries, sugar and lemon juice.
  2. Stir often until berries soften and release some juice, about 2 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, stir cornstarch with water to form a paste.
  4. Add to saucepan.
  5. Stir constantly until thickened, at least 2 or 3 minutes.
  6. Add butter and stir until melted.
  7. Serve right away or cover and refrigerate up to 3 days.
  8. Serve sauce warm or cold.
