Blizzard Bites Snack Mix in a Jar

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Layer cereal, pretzels, peanuts, cranberries and dried pineapple in a quart-sized canning jar.
  2. Add white chocolate chips inside food storage bag, and place on top of layered ingredients.
  3. Seal jar.
  4. Attach preparation instructions on the gift tag.
  5. Instructions:.
  6. Remove white chocolate chips from jar.
  7. Empty remaining jar contents into a large mixing bowl.
  8. Place white chocolate chips in a double boiler and let melt. NOTE: if mixture is to thick you can add 1 teaspoons of shortening to make it thin.
  9. Pour melted white chocolate chips over snack mixture.
  10. Stir until well coated.
  11. Spread mixture on wax paper and allow to cool.
  12. Break mix into small pieces, and store in air-tight storage container.
