Bird's Favorite Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup 2% low-fat milk
  • 1/8 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp butter

Directions:

  1. In small saucepan bring oats, milk, water, and salt to a simmer. Set timer for 4 minutes and continue simmering, stirring occasionally.
  2. After 4 minutes, stir in brown sugar and butter. Simmer 2 more minutes. Perfect.
