Best Refrigerator Rolls in Our House

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 4 tbsp white sugar
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 1 envelope yeast
  • 6 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Dissolve yeast in luke warm milk to which a tsp.of the sugar has been added.
  2. Scald the milk and add sugar and salt, cool to luke warm.
  3. Add the dissolved yeast.
  4. Add 1 cup flour at a time and beat well.
  5. Add hot mashed potatoes in small portions and beat well.
  6. Put into fridge and cover.
  7. This can be prepared 3-8 hours before using.
  8. Form into rolls.
  9. Take out of fridge and let them rise to twice the size.
  10. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
