Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup melted crisco
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup raisins

Directions:

  1. Mix and set aside: flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, stir together: eggs, sugar, butter, Crisco, molasses and milk.
  3. By hand, stir dry ingredients into wet and add: oatmeal, raisins, and walnuts.
  4. Spoon cookie dough by tablespoons onto parchment-lined baking sheets and bake at 350° for 14-16 minutes (7-8 minutes on the bottom rack of the oven and 7-8 minutes on the top).
