Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Hollow the core from the raw cabbage.
  2. Brown the bacon and onion.
  3. Drain bacon and onion, reserve drippings.
  4. Mix bacon and onion with barbecue sauce.
  5. Brush drippings in the cavity and on the outside of the cabbage.
  6. Salt, pepper, and garlic powder the outside to taste.
  7. Fill the cavity with bacon mixture.
  8. Set cabbage on an aluminum foil ring on the grill.
  9. Cover the grill and let it cook about an hour.*
  10. *You can parboil the cabbage ahead of time and reduce grilling time to about 25-30 minutes.
  11. Peel the charred outer leaves. Cut into wedges (can serve up to 6 easily) and serve. Goes great with country-style ribs!
