Bangin' Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Place potatoes in a large pot; cover with water.
  2. Cover and bring to a boil.
  3. Uncover and cook for 20-25 minutes or until very tender; drain well.
  4. Preheat oven to 350* F.
  5. In a large bowl, mash potatoes with hand masher or electric mixer.
  6. Add sour cream, cream cheese, 1 Tbl butter, salt, onion or garlic powder and pepper; beat until fluffy.
  7. Transfer to a greased 1 quart baking dish & dot with remaining butter.
  8. For a special treat, sprinkle with cheddar.
  9. Bake, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes or until heated through.
