Ingredients:

  • 3 package instant vanilla pudding (four - 1/2 cup serving size)
  • 5 cups milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 12 oz container of whipped topping, thawed
  • dash of nutmeg , optional

Directions:

  1. Place the crushed vanilla wafers in a 9 x 13 dish, reserving 1/2 cup for topping. Finely crush the reserved wafers and set aside.
  2. Combine pudding mix and milk and beat until smooth and thickened, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Add sour cream and half of the whipped topping; mix well.
  4. Place half of the pudding mixture over the wafers and smooth.
  5. Arrange sliced banana over pudding mixture.
  6. Cover with the remaining pudding mixture and smooth again.
  7. Top with remaining whipped topping then sprinkle with the reserved finely chopped wafers and add a dash of nutmeg.
