Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Cream together shortening and sugar, add eggs and beat well. Sift together ry ingredients, add to creamed mixture alternately with banana, blending well after each addition. Stir in nuts. Pour into well greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees 40-45 min. or until done. Use toothpick in center to test for doneness. Muffins may take less cooking time.
