Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cup flour
  • 3 soft, ripe bananas smashed

Directions:

  1. Cream suganr and shortening, add eggs, flour, soda, bananas, and chopped walnuts. Pour banana bread batter into 1 greased and floured loaf pan, bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clqan. This banana nut bread makes one loaf.
