Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 1/2 cups flour

Directions:

  1. No need for a mixer for this recipe.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F
  3. With a wooden spoon, mix butter into the mashed bananas in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix inches
  6. Add the flour last, mix.
  7. Pour mixture into a buttered 4x8 inch loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 1 hour.
  9. Cool on a rack. Remove from pan and slice to serve.
