Baked Chicken With Onions

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs chicken pieces
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp marjoram
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup water

Directions:

  1. Rub the chicken pieces with a mixture of the ginger, marjoram, salt, pepper and paprika.
  2. Place half the onions in a buttered (or sprayed) baking dish.
  3. Put the chicken pieces on top and then cover with remaining onions.
  4. Pour on the cup of water.
  5. Cover tightly and bake in 300 degree oven for 2 hours or until the chicken is tender and juices run clear.
