  1. Dip bananas in lemon juice; arrange in a greased 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with raisins and pecans. Combine sugar, syrup, and water in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat until bubbly. Spoon syrup over bananas; dot with butter. Cover and bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Serve warm with whipping cream, if desired.
