Ingredients:

  • 8 slices bacon
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 (2 1/2 oz) jar strained peach baby food
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 dash salt

Directions:

  1. Cut bacon strips lengthwise and then halfwise.
  2. Wrap each chestnut,secure with a toothpick.
  3. Place in an ungreased 13*9*2 baking pan.
  4. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes at 350.
  5. Can turn if needed.
  6. In a small bowl combine the remaining ingredients.
  7. Drizzle over water chestnuts.
  8. Bake 25 to 35 minutes longer or until bacon is crisp.
