Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. With a pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. In a smaller bowl, beat eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla.
  4. Add to dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.
  5. Fold in pears.
  6. Spoon into 3 mini loaf pans (5x2 1/2 inches).
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until tests done.
  8. Cool in pans 10 minutes, then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
