Ingredients:

  • 5 -6 lbs beef brisket
  • 1 (4 oz) bottle liquid smoke
  • 3 tbsp garlic salt

Directions:

  1. Marinate the brisket overnight by putting it in a large ziplock bag and pouring the liquid smoke over the top and add the garlic salt.
  2. The next morning you take the brisket and juices, put into a roaster, cover and cook 5 MINUTES on 400 degrees F., reduce oven temp to 250 degrees F, cook 5-6 hours. Cool. Slice against the grain and put into a crockpot to warm. Serve with BBQ sauce if desired.
