Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and cream cheese till fluffy.
  2. Add flour and cinnamon and mix until a smooth ball can be formed.
  3. Wrap in Saran wrap and refrigerate for at least 6-8 hours or overnight.
  4. Remove from refrigerator half hour before using rolling out.
  5. Roll dough on floured counter or board to 1/8 inch thickness.
  6. Cut into 3 inch rounds.
  7. Place 1 tablespoon of applesauce on each round then fold over and pinch press to seal tightly.
  8. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes or deep fry until light golden in color.
  9. Serve warm with a sprinkle of confectioners' sugar and cinnamon mixed together. Vanilla ice cream is also good with these.
