Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (16 oz) jar applesauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Sift dry ingredients together into large mixing bowl.
  2. Make well in center and add wet ingredients.
  3. Beat for 4 minutes.
  4. Pour into greased bunt pan and bake at 350 for one hour.
  5. Mix last 4 ingredients with enough milk to make it ‘drippy’ – it doesn’t take much.
  6. Spread on cake while it is still warm.
