Apples With Cinnamon -cider Dip

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups apple cider
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1/8 tsp salt ( optional)
  • dash of ground cloves
  • dash of allspice
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine

Directions:

  1. For dip, in a medium sauce pan combine corn starch and brown sugar.
  2. Stir in apple cider, honey, lemon juice, cinnamon, salt, clovesans allspice.
  3. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  4. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more. remove from heat. add butter or margarine; stir until melted.
  5. Serve dip warm with sliced apples. makes 4 to 6 servings
