Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups chunky applesauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped apple

Directions:

  1. Mix all dry ingredients set aside.
  2. Mix all wet ingredients.
  3. Add dry ingredients to wet.
  4. Fill muffin cups 3/4 full.
  5. Sprinkle a little sugar and cinnamon on each muffin before baking.
  6. Bake at 400 deg.
  7. For 20-25 minutes .
  8. Cool 5 minutes and remove from pans.
