Ingredients:

  • 4 cups apples
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp lemon peel
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • 1/4 cup fine breadcrumbs (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cook apples till soft with everything but rum and bread crumbs.
  2. Mash till smooth.
  3. Add rum.
  4. If filling is to thin, add fine bread crumbs.
