Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour sifted
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 dash(es) salt
  • 1/2 cup butter

Directions:

  1. Mound apples in buttered 9 pie plate; sprinkle w/ orange juice. combine sugar, flour, spices and salt; cut in butter until mixture is crumbly and sprinkle over apples.
  2. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until aples are tender and topping is crisp.
